What is a good show fly spray??
I ride dressage but introductory level. I need a nice strong spray so my pony doesn't twitch and shake and swat his tail. I don't need a gallon, just a quart(or whatever the smaller bottle is, LOL!).
Thx!
I would definitely use Bug Block, Equus Premier marigold, tritech, Supershield or anything like that! I would NOT recommend Bronco because it is very diluted (thats why it is so cheap) and when I used it, it worked so poorly, some of my riding buddies said it practically attracted flies!
Some other good things to use would be to put garlic or vinegar in their feed. it raises their pH level in their blood (safely of course) so flies wont even come near your horse. It also helps with their coat! It definitely helped my horses! Also, you could use swat on the really sensitive places such as the teats of a mare or the sheath of a gelding or stallion because they'll pitch a fit if a fly gets them there!
Hope this helped!
